Lazarus was born in Giyani, South Africa. He is a Shangaan. He is qualified through SACA (South African Chefs Association) where he completed a Diploma.
He has been a chef for over 15 years and has vast experience with cooking Kosher food for many years with a well-known Kosher catering company here in Johannesburg.
He has also worked at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton.
His favourite dish is Lamb Curry.
